You obtain a license in the other state based on the requirements you completed in order to receive your Ohio license. While living outside of Ohio, you have two options to select from in order to maintain your Ohio license. First, you can com- plete the required continuing education hours and pay the renewal fee each period. Secondly, you can your license in an INACTIVE/ESCROW status, this status requires the payment of the renewal fee but continuing education hours are not required at the time of renewal.
